As arms wrapped around him, Cao Ang returned Avery’s hug with a fond smile. He was happy to have been able to help her and her remaining family. She was truly a delightful companion and a wonderful person.

“A tapestry from Xuchang.” Zixiu raised up the large fabric, arms spread wide to show off its marvelous patterns to her. “The lotuses and the crane reminded me of you a little. Please, accept it as a gift.”
